Why are we called
“Condell Park Bible Church”?
"Condell Park" is logical because that’s where we meet – a suburb between the Bankstown and Liverpool areas, southwest of Sydney. Our address is 29 Lancelot Street, Condell Park, New South Wales, 2200.
"Bible" is central because that’s what we believe. It is God’s only inspired Word to mankind and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. In it, God reveals Himself and His plan of salvation for a sinful world, the good news of His Son, Jesus Christ. Through it, the Holy Spirit changes us to become more like Christ.
"Church" is vital because that’s who we are. While "Condell Park" and "Bible" are our choice in defining who we are, "Church" is a title mandated by God in His Word. It is God’s designation for the assembly of forgiven sinners who gather together to worship Him “in spirit and in truth” and then reach out to others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
